I love this, Kate! Lots of people all over the word seem to be trying out sourdough, now,
since they have more time. You’re the first person that I know of that has been so philosophical about it, and of course, your writing is delightful!
On a practical note, I’ve been keeping my sourdough out of the fridge, where I usually keep it, and on the counter. I’ve been making sourdough pancakes, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls. Just using it regularly has been keeping it healthier. I did use a recipe for the biscuits that also added baking powder. Can you get baking powder? I can send you the recipe.
